Within the Project EU4Business Recovery, funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and jointly implemented by the ILO, GIZ, and UNDP, the ILO will provide support to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the textile, apparel, leather and footwear sectors, in ensuring business continuity and thus increasing their resilience by providing an integrated support package consisting of grants and technical assistance.

Technical assistance will be delivered through Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) Programme and development of Business Continuity Plans and/or Factory Improvement Plans (BCP/FIP) that will lead to cleaner production, productivity upgrades and increased competitiveness of the companies. Selected candidates will be trained in SCORE methodology and BCP, which will enable them to provide consultancy services to small and medium enterprises and become certified SCORE trainers. After successful completion of the training, the trainers will be contracted by ILO to provide trainings to selected companies.
